Effective Commissioning, Shutdowns, and Turnarounds 

Introduction:

The Purpose of this training is to understand how the oil and gas, OIL Refinery units and Equipment's Operated in a safe Manner and the Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) to be followed for Normal Operations with safe Operating limits, Shut down of units (Normal & Emergency), Turn Around after shut down and safe start to bring the units / equipment's for Normal operation .
Shutdowns, Turn around and outages are usually sizable activities executed under strict time Constraints with severe financial impacts for projects delay. These are also subject to significant potential scope changes that arise from finding and extra work during outage period and require rapid decision making and approvals that cannot be avoided. Making effective project controls is one of the most important elements in successfully executing a shutdown or turnaround Activities.
