Training Agenda:
The course comprises of two distinct parts:

Part One:
  • Definition of Import Terminals- Land-based and floating Terminal
  • Market overview and Demand forecast
  • The key criteria for the choice between Land Based Terminal and FSRU.
  • State-of-the-art technologies specifically for Regas/Import LNG terminal located on the land and on
  • the nearshore/at shore floating terminal (FSRU).
  • Key Features of the capital equipment – Design criteria, cost and vendors/ supplier
  • The course will also highlight Gravity Based and Gravi-float offshore facilities with its associated technologies highlighting the advantages and impediments therein.
Part Two:
  • Typical Terminal Project overview and Different stakeholders – developers, financiers, EPC contractors etc.
  • Different layers of project development phases and methods for the terminals right from the concept stage to the EPC estimates grilled down to +15%/-5% costing.
  • The basic plant concept layout, with tanks, re-condensers, vaporizers, BOG compressors, pumps, and other equipment including LNG tanker unloading will be well explained with the purpose for each component.
  • Typical PFD and P&ID will be referred while explaining the system, subsystem, and equipment also explaining their functionality.
  • Key safety aspects covering the design and functionality of the facilities – HAZID & HAZOP.
  • Operating Guidelines and key troubleshooting aspects.

Tushar's robust professional career is built having worked for different reputed companies like Shell- Brunei/ Hauge, Bechtel- Offshore Group, Houston, USA; IHI- E&C, Houston, USA; McDermott- UK; Sembcorp Marine/ SMOE, Singapore; Prosafe Production/ BW Offshore – Singapore; Amec Foster Wheeler – USA/ KL; MAXUS- Indonesia, L'AIR LIQUIDE- Paris/ India; etc. The professional journey has passed thru many milestones, viz Process Head, Engineering Manager, Project Manager, Chief Risk Officer, Safety Leader, General Manager, and Project Director for various offshore/onshore Oil and Gas and LNG projects Published and presented to several Industry- focused high-quality technical papers in International Conferences including OTC. A Senior Member of American Institute of Chemical Engineers, member of OTC - Asia conference committee and Gastech conference committee.
